The 2018 Atlantic ViaYOUTH Summit marked Motivate Canada's first time hosting a youth summit on the east coast! This event was hosted in the beautiful city of Halifax, Nova Scotia and saw 25 youth from eastern provinces join us for a 3 day immersive leadership experience.
In 2019, we headed back to Gatineau for the 2019 National summit. This event brought together 40 youth delegates from across Canada along with 5 leadership team members.
In early March of 2020, we hosted 30 youth leaders from across Canada in Vancouver, British Columbia. This event helped to create many cross Canada friendships and connections that helped many of these youth throughout the pandemic over the past 2.5 years.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we had to adjust our delivery model in 2021 to an online summit! This was our first time hosting a virtual summit and it was a great success! 15 youth delegates and 7 leadership team members joined us from across Canada for a weekend focused on "Youth Developing Resilience, Connection and Community in Challenging Times."
In 2022 we delievered a hybrid version of the ViaYOUTH Summit. Our team and leadership team hosted and broadcasted live from Vancouver to 20 youth from across the country who joined us from the comfort of their own homes!
2023 National ViaYOUTH Summit

The 2023 ViaYOUTH Summit took place in the stunning city of Vancouver. This event was a collaborative effort with Motivate Canada's GEN7 program, emphasizing Indigenous teachings. We brought together 25 youth from all corners of the country for a week filled with inspiration, connection, growth, and leadership.
2024 National ViaYOUTH Summit
Our latest ViaYOUTH Summit took place on the east coast of Canada, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This event gathered 25 young individuals from seven provinces across the country. The theme for this year's summit was "Everyone Has A Story," highlighting the significance of each person's unique narrative. The summit aimed to foster meaningful connections, inspire youth to discover their individual talents, and celebrate the wonderful diversity within the group.
